WOWZERS!

God is so amazingly GOOD!! I read a post on facebook this morning that made me want to look up scriptures on governing powers. Here is what I found:

2 Peter 2:9-11
9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

Romans 13:1-3
1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

Jude 1:8-9
8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Oh be careful little tounge what you say! I have 2 more scriptures to share with you this day:

Job 9:20If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
Matthew 12:37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Let us all be careful what we say and do. Speak evil of no one. Love one another for there is no law against it!

Luke 6:37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven

Words "I" need to hear

Hebrews 12:1-9 (King James Version)

1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

How close is your relationship with God?

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
-Daniel 6:10

Daniel had been praying on his knees giving thanks to God three times a day everyday long before the law was written to forbid it. It didn't phase Daniel in the least bit to stop his habit even after he knew the law had been signed forbidding praying to anyone but king Darius. And the consequence for disobeying king Darius' law was to be thrown into a lion's den! So what happened to daniel when with the lions? Let's read on.

Verse 22: My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Innocency was found in Daniel because he had not denied the one true God. The lions' mouths were shut so that they could do no hurt. Oh that we would walk this close of a relationship with God! But oh wait, what if these were baby lions who could barely do no hurt?

Verse 24: And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Ouch!! Jesus said he would never leave nor forsake us. May we do the same! Let us never leave nor forsake our God! Walk with Him. Talk with Him. Have that close relationship with God so that you too will stand strong in your faith knowing that there's NOTHING to fear but God himself! Remember God IS love and perfect love cast out all fear! I'll leave you with these two verses:

Ezekiel 22:25
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Pigs in Pain and Low Flying Planes

What is that title about? Well if it isn't obvious to you, it has everything to do with a disease that has been widespread through our country's media. With all the recent talk about swine flu, it makes one to wonder what ever happened to all the talk about bird flu. Does the media disease make anyone else sick?

Oh and low flying planes? Don't tell me you didn't hear of that one! Well many probably didn't hear about it since I don't think it was nearly as widespread as the pigs. But it's true. I searched it out on youtube myself. On monday, april 27th 2009 a low flying plane was spotted over NYC skies.

It was a photo shoot of an air force one plane! And apparently not even the mayor of NYC knew about it til AFTER the event. They say that some buildings were even evacuated during this supposedly "photo op" flyover. I even saw one video of people running in fear. And apparently our own prez knew nothing about it!

So which is more frightening to you? Reports of swine flu or the fact that Our own president can't keep up with his planes?!? Post me some comments!

It's official, I'm LAZY!

A whole month without blogging?!?? Yes! Busy? Sometimes. Working? sometimes. Lazy? All too often!! I find the same thing happens when it comes to reading the bible. I'm gonna do better from now on though. The same thing also happens when it comes to keeping my house clean. I'm gonna do better with that too! Today is a new day, a fresh start.

Camp Out 2009!

Ah, the wonderful spring time! This past week was my oldest daughter, Karalynn's spring break. She wanted to do something fun during her time off from school so I decided to take her and my other two daughters camping. This was my youngest, Gabriella's very first time going camping! We took Kara on her first camping trip at age three and Gabriella's not far from as she will be three this year so I figured this would be fun for her. Let me note though that I did this of my own will and completely by myself so it was just ME and my THREE daughters!

We left plenty early during the day and got to our campsite just in time to have lunch. I set everyhting up on the picnic table and we all enjoyed our PB&J sandwiches. I gathered up some wood for our camp fire while the girls finished their lunch and then we got our tent set up. I was glad that we got there early as most of the other camp sites filled up quick during the evening. Since we had all afternoon, we took a short hike down a trail close to where our site was. We made it all the way down the hill until we came to a sign that pointed left and right. Instead of picking a direction we decided to hike back up the hill to our starting point!

We played some card games in our tent and played the 'quiet game' to see who could be quiet the longest in hopes that we MIGHT actually get some nap time in but alas, no, my kids ended up playing more in and outside the tent as it came time to start the fire and get ready for cooking hot dogs. We enjoyed our dinner and later enjoyed making some smores just as it was finally getting dark. My girls put on their own little show where each one sang a song by the fire and I had to pick who would remain and who would be out. Kinda like american idol I guess. I ended up picking Gabriella as the winner. Watch the video to find out why! What an awesome ending to my day!!

Well it WAS awesome until about 12:37 AM. Gabby's first trip to the rest room. Thankfully I was within site of the restroom only 2 sites down. I learned my lesson from when I took Lacy on her first trip to make sure I camped near the rest rooms! We get all snug in the tent again til about an hour later and Gab's gotta go again. I decide to keep my shoes on this time and just lay on top of my sleeping bag so I'll be ready to get up AGAIN if need be but it's cold by now. Was supposed to be low of 44 but it ended up going down to at least 39 degrees! I couldn't sleep even with my two coats on over the rest of my clothes. I also started feeling sick like I needed to puke. So not only did I make a few more trips to the rest room with Gabriella, but I also made a few of my own! I never got any more sleep until between 5 and 6AM! Needless to say as soon as it was light outside, I threw everything in the back of the van without folding up anything(it's still there too) and we headed home!

But wait! ...I felt better now! It was nice and sunny out and was warming up! We stopped off at a few places along the parkway on our way home and even ended up going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. So all in all, it was a very enjoyable camping trip except between the hours of 1 and 6 AM!!

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Too Often, I Forget!

Too often I forget to 'be still and know.' How easy it seems to just go through each day forgetting to even spend one minute in silence alone with God. If we'll be still, open our hearts, and listen.. really listen, ..then we just might hear.

Today I was reading where my bible happened to be opened to. Jeremiah chapters 8, 9 and 10. I came upon this verse and thought it very fitting to go along with a new video I had been wanting to do. The verse is Jeremiah 10:13 but let me start reading a little before that:

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. -Jeremiah 10:10-13

Be Still, and Know

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though
the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is
a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

New Post

How's that for a title?! It's late and I'm supposed to be in bed but I wanted to type a quick blog for today.

I got on the christian-chat.com chat site tonight just to see if anything interesting was being chatted about. I hadn't been on that site in quite some time so I thought it'd be fun to see who was on. And for those that don't know, that is the chat site where I first met Krista way back in ..'97 was it?

Anyways, I stumbled upon an interesting fact that I've never noticed before. I knew that God made light on the first day and didn't create the sun, moon, and stars til the fourth day, but It never dawned on me that veggetation was made on day three. So God made living plants before he made the sunshine! How about that?!

The person I chatted with was telling me how plants could live in darkness for well over a day. I haven't tried his experiment of putting live weeds in a basement, but I wouldn't doubt that they could live in darkness for more than a day. Isn't it amazing just how awesome our God is?!? Well, I will leave this blog at that for today and head to bed. Be blessed!!

Friends

Well I wasn't going to blog last night but then after reading some notes by others on facebook, this subject kind of hit me like a brick. The subject of friends. You see I was reading about someone who had lots of friends on an outward level, but not really on the deep inner level. But when faced with a crisis, the friends were there on more of the deep level. And well maybe that's how it is with a lot of us. We know people but we don't REALLY know people. We'll help a person out when we SEE that they have a need, but how often do we SEEK with questions to find out if someone has an inner need that we do not see.

I know that I, myself, have a very hard time getting to know people. It's been such my entire life. And the only thing I know to blame that on is my shyness. Even though I'm not nearly as shy as when I was younger, I'm still the type of guy who can't make conversation and ask questions just to get to know someone. Perhaps it's the fear of saying something stupid or the fear of simply being rejected. I don't really know. All I know is that for a long time I've wanted it to change. I wanna be the one who makes the first introduction. The one who's not afraid to ask the deep questions and not afraid to give an answer even when the answer might be crap. After all, a REAL friend is someone you know really well and can even give wrong answers to and still be loved just because.. ..well just because! It means you've shared some of life's journeys together and you know things about each other that others may not know. And so even in bad times or when saying stupid things you know that you know that you know your friend will still be there.

Lo and behold it was the internet that allowed me to make my first such friend. The one who I could talk to unashamedly and tell deep dark secrets to. And so even now I can sit here typing this via internet cause those fears that I guess exist in person don't seem to exist quite as badly here. I don't have the fear of rejection or of saying something stupid even though what I type goes out to anyone in the world who wants to read it. When things ARE rejected though, there's always the delete option!

Modern internet social sites have allowed outward friend making easier than ever. Making that 'inner' friendship is still not always so easy though. Yet long before social and dating sites, the internet brought me my first and still only real intimate friend. The one who became my help mate, my wife. Maybe we're all supposed to have only one really really intimate friend that we become married to, but aren't there still others throughout life that we get to know on different intimate levels?

I can't speak for myself because my wife is still my only intimate friend period. I did have one cousin I was real close friends with when growing up but other that that, I never knew anyone on a deep level. I did begin to know some folks on a slightly deeper level when I was attending a prayer group on a regular basis as a teen. But alas, we grow older and groups fall away. I'm a husband and a father now and work two different jobs so you'd think I would know some folks on a bit of deeper level but I feel I don't. Even with family members I only seem to know what I see on the outside.

Other than my wife and kids, I have few persons if any that I feel I could call a REAL friend. And by that I mean someone I know inside and out. I know that Jesus is the one intimate friend who is ALWAYS there, but that's not the point of what I'm trying to discuss here. And any one that I did know closely as a friend when growing up doesn't count either cause I live to far away now to see them on a regular basis. That also adds to my point that I never had a close friend even when growing up since I don't know anyone that I even call and talk to on a regular basis other than my mom. And that's back to family again which doesn't really count.

So it is my desire that I will become better at knowing outward friends, workers, and even family members on a deeper level. If I can brave my outside fears to reach deep into someone's life on the inside, then perhaps God can better use me. I see the outward appearance of people around me everyday, but it is what's on the inside that I want to know more of. Don't take me wrong, I never want to be as intimate with someone as I am with my wife, but I do hope I can know people on a deep enough level to pray with them through life's struggles.

I mean even I could use one good friend who I'd know would be there to pray with me when I struggle in life. Someone other than just my wife that is. I think everyone needs some sort of accountability partner, a friend that can just be a friend. Someone other than your mate, but yet someone who you know deep enough to tell those secret things to that you sometimes need prayer about. Sure you can pray between yourself and God but there's power in the prayer of two people together. Jesus said "where two or more are gathered together in my name, there I am also." As old sayings go.. two heads are better than one and a three chord strand is not easily broken. I'll leave with this verse:

Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel. -Proverbs 27:9

Missing Hour!

Oh where Oh where did my hour just go??? Ah, the lack of sleep! especially when the time jumps up an hour. Figured I'd type a blog fer today since I'm up anyways and can't get to sleep yet. Besides that, my day will be busy as we are celebrating Lacy's 5th Birthday this evening with a party at our house after Lacy's first tee ball practice which is not long after lunch which is usually right after church service which isn't long after breakfast! (Said a mouth ful didn't I?!)

It's not just the lack of an hour that is causing me to loose sleep tonight. After facebooking awhile when I got home from work, my 2 yr old daughter woke up needing a drink. After getting the drink and tucking her back into bed, it wasn't long before she woke up wanting to snuggle. So I snuggled with her for quite a while and then put her back down. Now she just woke up again as I was in the midst of blogging and so now I'm typing while my daughter is snuggling with me in the rocking chair.

I'm generally not good at multi tasking, but if there's one thing I can do, it's to snuggle, rock, and type at the same time! Oh the joys of fatherhood! I honestly wouldn't trade this for anything. I love snuggling and rocking my Gabriella Gracie Jo Phillips!! I wouldn't trade her for all the world! Children are such a blessing from God. Even with all the fussing and crankiness, it's times like this when you can relax in the quiet of night and just enjoy the moment of having a quiet child who you know loves you with all their heart.

It's in this missing hour that I pray my little one grows up to be even more lively for Jesus than I may ever be. And since this missing hour has put me on the subject of my Gabriella, next up just might be a song that her older sister wrote for her! But for now, a final try to get to bed tonight.

Garage sales RULE

Umm, yeah, ..so I'm holding off on blogging about four until perhaps I have some readers to make it worth the effort. It's Friday night (almost Saturday now) and I just got home from work a bit ago so I'm gonna hit the sack and get some sleep. My wife want's to go to some garage sales in the morning so I BEST get some sleep so I can actually get up with her. Oh, and by the way, garage sales DO infact RULE! I've found many a bargain at them. Two 27" TVs for 20 bucks a piece and Two 20" TVs for absolutely FREE. How's that fer a bargain?! Mind you this was a few years ago too before the whole transitioning to digital thing. I'm sure there will be lots more old tubes to be found this year as many people are probably trashing them for flats if they don't buy the little box to convert the new digital signals. We've even found brand new gifts to give for Christmas at garage sales before. Tags still attached too!

So anyways, in honor of garage sales and, more importantly, in honor of my wife, I'm going to bed so I can actually get up with her and check out all the garage/yard sales in the morn. The difference between garage and yard sales is a subject for another day! To any who actually read this, have a blessed night!

Ahab

From 1Kings chapter 22:

20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
34 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
35 And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
40 So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

I once wrote lyrics to a song titled 'Ahab' :

verse:
7th king of Israel, Lord told Micaiah you would fail
Micaiah came and told you so, but you never listened, Devil's drawn his bow
Satan's arrow has piereced you, now you're dead what can you do
bridge:
You believed in a lie
You surely died
chorus:
Don't believe in lie you'll die shot down by an arrow when you should have chose the narrow
Ahab a wicked king was you, you chose your own path and you never believed the truth
verse:
Ahab you wicked king, you surely felt the devil's sting
I never want to be like you, I want to live in light and truth
Arrow drawn in it's simplicity, what does it take to make you see?

Now for your enjoyment (or not!), the only video ever made of the song, Ahab, as performed by S.H.E.EP.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Will you believe in a lie?

My Beautiful Surprise

Hello blog! Thought I'd share a bit today about one of my daughters, Lacy. She's the younger of my oldest and the older of my youngest. The in between child age wise. Tomorrow March 4th is Lacy's 5th birthday. To those who don't know, Lacy is actually our 3rd daughter.

Krista was once about 8 weeks along with a child to later find that the child was no longer there. When standing in the doctor's office immediately after having seen the sonogram with no baby, I asked the Lord in my heart what the child's name was. Never telling Krista what name had popped into my mind, she told me a few days later that she really liked the name Abigail. That was exactly the name God had laid on my heart! We looked up the meaning of the name to find out that it means 'the Father's joy'. And we have no doubt that baby Abigail IS the Father's joy right up there with him in heaven!!

So Lacy came along eventually after that. God always has the perfect plan! I can't imagine life without my Lacy! She is soooo sweet, caring, loving and kind(when she wants to be)! When one of us is sick or hurt, Lacy is the one to bring a smile to our face with a kind thought or deed. Even through the screaming, pushing a sis, telling a lie, or throwing a fit, Lacy is still my pure joy and delight that I've been blessed by God to have. So in honor of her 5th birthday, I would like to share a song that I wrote for Lacy along with some pictures of her from a baby on up til now. I hope you enjoy and Lacy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I've Snow Title for Today!

Yawn, ...I sleepy. It's the first day of a new month and only one half hour left of it! I wanted to get a post in for today but I really don't know what to say. We had a fun snow this morn which will probably be completely melted by tommorrow evening. Perhaps I'll post a pic of the snowman my daughter made. She used a baby carrot for it's nose!

Three in One

Trinity. A word not found in all of scripture but the fact that God is three persons in one cannot be denied. I will not offer you an explanation of the trinity. But one thing I will do is share some scripture that sheds light on this subject.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Acts 17:29
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Colossians 2:9
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

You may count for yourself the number of times 'Godhead' is used in scripture.

Do let me explain three things though. Time is made up of what? Past, Present, Future? Space is measured be what? Length, Width, and Height? All matter exists in what forms? Solid, liquid, or gas?

In the beginning [time] God created the heaven [space] and the earth [matter].
-Genesis 1:1

If I may, let me quote Michael Hoggard from his book The King James Code, "Time is the essential law of the universe; nothing exists outside of the laws of time. Before there can be matter, there must be space to put it in; therefore, time, space, and matter are in their perfect order." I will leave you with one last verse.

Revelation 4:8
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy[once], holy[twice], holy[thrice], LORD[1] God[2] Almighty[3], which was[past], and is[present], and is to come[future]. -words in brackets mine.

For the many that do not know, there once was a band called S.H.E.E.P. It stands for Salvation Has Eradicated Evil Permanently. Prayer before practice was a must. We never once missed praying before we played. Jesus was our reason. This song bears His title. Watch this video and exprience the song simply titled, Jesus.

And then there were...

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. -Genesis 1:7,8

Two. One plus one. Funny, I guess all numbers could be boiled down to just ones. That'd be alot of adding though! In the number two, we have the possiblity of division. Two divided by one is two. Going back to the one plus one, we also have a union of two things.

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." -Jesus(Matthew 18:20)

We find in Genesis 1:16 that God made two lights. The greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. We are to walk as children of the light. If we walk not in the light, then we are in darkness. And how great that darkness can be! "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."-Jesus(John 8:12)

"..in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established."-Jesus(Matthew 18:16) The book of Revelation mentions two witnesses in the end days. It makes perfect sense that it takes at least two to have a witness. If there's only one person with no one else around, then who's to witness what the one person does? So then it clearly takes two to have a witness.

My prayer today is that God is my witness that I have chosen this day to walk in the light. And I pray that as each day goes by, the light becomes brighter and brighter making my path all the more clear. Today I leave you with an old hymn:

Holy Spirit, Light divine, Shine upon this heart of mine;
Chase the shades of night away, Turn my darkness into day.
Holy Spirit, Pow'r divine, Cleanse this guilty heart of mine;
Long has sin, without control, Held dominion o'er my soul.
Holy Spirit, Joy divine Cheer this saddened heart of mine;
Bid my many woes depart, Heal my wounded, bleeding heart.
Holy Spirit, all divine, within this heart of mine;

UNO

Ok, so I know my picture on this page is a bit big but I'll fix that later when I get the time. I might even change the pic entirely. It's one of my fav pics though, so at the moment I'm keeping it! Thank you to anyone who cares to follow me blog! .....on to the blogging now.......

..UNO...the number one. What's in a number? Why do we have them? What is their purpose? Is not all things digital made up of ones and zeros? that's something and nothing isn't it? One is something. Zero is the nothing. right?!? And do numbers lie? Can something plus nothing ever equal anything else? 1+0=?

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. -Jeremiah 33:3

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. -1John 5:7

And immediately I was in the Spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. -Revelation 4:2

Thus ends my ramblings for today. God bless you all.
This be my first post on me blog. just trying it out
